curb alert: live 6ft Christmas tree

Student neighbors going away for break have put out a free tree on the curb. (Yes, it is still 4 days before Christmas.)

Take home a spontaneous tree, and make my walk to the bus stop less cluttered till tree collection season! It was last seen in front of 102 Bromfield, and the folks who put it out say it is free for the taking.

Looks to be about 6 feet tall and still healthy, though probably losing more needles at this stage than one you just bought today would.

Clarification question: do you mean live tree in a pot, or do you mean slowly dying tree, "live" as opposed to plastic?

I meant as opposed to one made of plastic. So it might do someone a week or two of good if they nabbed it from the curb, but then will be back on the curb becoming Somerville mulch. (I assume a plastic tree would not have been tossed out by folks who thought they could use it again next year...)

I'm also not at all sure if it's still there, FWIW.
