The important details:

People: a queer (dyke) couple and a straight gal searching for a perfect fourth for our household. There are also 2 kitties, and due to allergies, we cannot accept any more cats, but a cat-friendly dog would be considered. We appreciate a housemate who likes living with people and would be up for random dinners, chats over beer, wine or some other beverage, someone who is into environmentally responsible living. Bicyclists, artists, teachers, scientists, and quirky folks are encouraged to apply. We are a bit nerdy, in the science-y as well as book-y way. :) Important to us: feeling welcomed and glad to be home, a distinct lack of drama, and a general sense of respect.

House: top 2 floors of a 2-family on Bay State Ave, smack dab between Davis and Ball Squares. Lots of light, hardwood floors, laundry and storage in basement, large bedrooms, off-street parking, a 3-season back porch that is absolutely perfect for morning coffee, an open but covered front porch, lots of historic detail (if you're into that sort of thing), a small yard, and a quiet, tree-lined street.

Room: Giant-sized – the smallest available room is 12’ x 13’. 2 windows. Big closet. Hardwood floor.

Moneys: 700/mo plus utilities - gas, electric and high speed internet (which we'll be sharing with our neighbors via wireless hub--whee! technology!). there is talk of getting a land line, but we haven't committed to it yet.
