This Saturday: Fire Spinners in Union Square!

This looks like fun: Fire & Ice: A Winter Festival in Union Square, Saturday from 3 to 6 pm:

Keep warm as professional fire spinners A Different Spin take the stage outdoors in Union Square Plaza. Keeping you entertained throughout watch Don Chappelle of Brilliant Ice Sculptures, the same ice sculptor of First Night Boston, demonstrate his craft on two blocks of ice. ...

Also if you have kids you'll enjoy participating in some fun winter activities! This includes ice bowling, sand art by SVB, and a recycled lava lamp craft sponsored by Next Step Living Inc.

It's the first event of this year's Somerville Arts Council ArtsUnion series.

That sounds cool! Anyone know what time the firespinning is? The description makes it sound like it's at the beginning, but I'd think it would be best observed near/after dark... it's the one part of the event I'd be really excited to go to, so I'd love it if anyone has schedule details :)

Sunset on Saturday is at 5:34 pm, so there's not going to be much darkness. Perhaps send e-mail to ADifferentSpin@gmail.com and let us know what they say?

ETA: I asked on Facebook and got this reply: "We'll be doing three 20-minute sets from 4:30 - 4:50, 5:05 - 5:25, and 5:40 - 6:00"
