For you travelers out there?

If you had very little money to spend (like, $8-900 TOPS for everything, air, lodging, rental car if necessary), and only a week (MAYBE 9-10 days),where's a neat place to go? I'm looking for somewhere in the US that's different from where I've spent most of my life (Boston/New England), or somewhere in the Europe vicinity that's cheap-would love to see some suggestions from people who have been there, done that...! :)

Also check United, American, and Aer Lingus. London is godawfully cheap right now, and I expect Dublin wouldn't be too bad. And if you're a student or under 26, see what one of the student travel agencies can dig up.
