Bedworks

This might be a long shot, but does anyone have any experience with Bedworks in Central Square, specifically their mattresses? Being a hippie, I'm drawn to them, but being poor, their mattresses are pretty expensive for my budget (I have decided to buy instead of salvage, but there are cheaper non-hippie mattresses to be found). If anyone has information about whether they're having a Mem Day sale, that would also be ridiculously useful.

I don't have any experience with Bedworks, but highly endorse Spindle Mattress Co if you are looking for a US-made latex mattress from a local (Acton) family-owned company. Haven't tried their mattresses, but I've owned three of their futons over the last 20 years or so and will definitely buy a fourth when the time comes. The workmanship is great, the prices are reasonable, and they've always been good to deal with. I'd say they'd be a good bet - good luck and happy snoozing!

Sorry no experience with them either but I recommend Sleep-a-rama(only in Fenway right now but they're opening a new cambridge store soon) since I got a great deal and an awesome mattress plus they're a family business and laid back. They moved from central last year to porter in the building with miso which then the owner decided to do other things with. Good luck and hope you find a good deal somewhere and one you like!
