davis_squareThere was a big turnout at the first game night at True Grounds last month so it's happening again on Tuesday, August 23rd, 7-9:30PM.
It's going to be every fourth Tuesday until whenever.
The Schedule
Tuesday, August 23
Tuesday, September 27
Tuesday, October 25
Tuesday, November 22
Tuesday, December 27 (there's a chance True Grounds may not be open so stay tuned on that one)
Time: 7:00 - 9:30 PM
Where: @ True Grounds (coffee shop/cafe)

Ball Square, Somerville 02144
Directions: via Google Map
If you're taking the T, go to Davis Square on the Red Line and walk about 12 minutes down College Avenue and take a right on Broadway. Nearby buses include 89, 80, 96, 94. Use the MBTA Trip Planner for more specific directions.
Cost: Free
Ages: All
What: This is a social game event, not a tournament.
Types of Games: Card games and board games suitable for True Grounds tables that can accomodate 2-4 players. An assortment of games will be on hand. Bring yours, too!
Food: free snacks 7-7:30 and True Grounds full menu of food and drinks.
RSVP: Entirely optional. If you want to win free stuff (and help us figure out how many people might show up), register on the event website. For the first game night in July over 40 people showed up. Your contact information isn't added to a spam-o-gram list. it's only used to contact you in advance of the event and at the event if you've won something. Each game night has it's own event site so if you sign up for one, you are not automatically signed up for the others.

What Else: If you want to help out and bring certain games, let me know! It might be good to know if 20 people were planning to bring the same game.

If anyone who was there last time sees this, feel free to make note here. It was a pretty diverse collection of board and card games. The main thing to keep in mind is that tables are small at True Grounds so games that can accomodate 2-4 people and don't need more than two hours to play are best.
