Zoe's and Mixtura are open again!

Yes, yes, not technically Davis but I'm almost certain it was mentioned here before, so for those mourning their absence, Zoe's and Mixtura (which to my dismay I'd thought was perma-closed) are open again*! Since Zoe's seems to get all the love, allow me a brief plug for Mixtura: Super tasty latin fusion breakfast (plus other meals, but I'm usually there for breakfast) with free wifi, right across from Petsi's Pies. I really recommend checking them out. Nomz.

* cue people pointing out however many days they've been open, but it's the first I've heard anyone say anything about it

[EDIT: it's come to my attention that while Zoe's is "open" in the sense that I saw people there on my way in to Mixtura, they may not be open for business again yet. I'll check and update later ]

[EDIT 2: yup, I jumped the gun on Zoe's. Sorry 'bout that. But Mixtura is open and I'm sure the closure didn't do them any favors, so I'm still happy to signal boost them. ]

I called Zoe's recently and was told "after this Sunday (7/27)".

I've called Zoe's a couple of times in the past half year and their estimates of when they'll be able to reopen have turned out to be inaccurate (and are now well in the past). Hopefully this estimate was right... did they reopen?

Your experience has mirrored mine: their estimates of time to reopening have gotten smaller in less-than-realtime. I have not yet contacted them since Sunday.
