I just tried to make an appointment for my cat only to discover that Dr. Leavy has left Porter Square Vet. Does anyone know where she went? I really liked how she treated me and my cat.
I'm bit scared to, because from what I can tell all the good vets leave porter square vet after no to long, but the one I had trouble with is still there.
I'm not relishing telling a new very about my deaf, hyperthyriod, corn-allergic, under-weight, labored breathing cat who is now thin enough you can feel that he has had, at one point in his life, a broken rib.
Look for Dr. Parker at Porter Sq Vet, he's excellent with the kitties. I am assuming you were scared off by Dr. C...they were amenable when I called and said, "I'd like to make an appointment with anyone but him!"
I seem to recall her saying something about moving out of the area; I am going there tomorrow with the kitten so I will try to find out...she's my Harri and Patrick's vet, too.
I am very sad to learn that Dr. Leavy has left Porter Square Vet. She has seen my renal cat Ruby through many visits including complex surgery and acupuncture. I planned to bring her to City Cats in Arlington to continue to see Dr L. but their prices are through the roof! The $45 that I pay for quarterly blood work at Porter Square is $100.00 PLUS a $25 blood drawing fee! Regular vet visits are $67.
Hi everyone that might read this! Since the last post, the prices have gone down considerably at City Cats at Dr. Leavey's direction. We saw her last week in her new space. She seems happier there...more relaxed and Ruby and I are delighted to get her healing back on track!
