So I went to a cool store today that I only recently learned about, Re-Use in East Arlington. Its not Davis but it's not far, I wish I knew about it sooner. The lady was really nice and I picked up a pair of Mid-Century end tables that match my grandmother's table. Nice score on tax free weekend. This place is having a sale too, so it might be worth checking out. I'm not sure if she buys, but it sounds like she does. Anyway, it's a nice community business so I wanted to give it a shout out and with all the moving that happens this time of year it's a good alternative to Ikea ETC.

I second this place
Date: 2014-08-18 02:51 pm (UTC)I did overhear her speaking with someone else - she does not tend to buy from people just stopping into her shop. She mostly deals with estates. She said she hates to disappoint people if she can't give them much for their beloved antiques.
She said she is extending her 20% off sale for a few more days.
