Save the date for a sale of fairly-traded rugs and Christmas trees Dec 6 and 7, 11-4, at Unity Somerville, 6 William St, the corner with College Ave, near Davis Sq. Proceeds will support Healthy Tomorrow's project in Mali, West Africa, that works to end female genital mutilation (FGM). What kind of rugs, at what prices? I just moved and was going to by cheap Amazon ones, but if I can afford ones that benefit a cause so much the better!

The rugs are fairly-traded, hand-woven rugs from Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. We'll have a range of sizes from inexpensive throw rugs to 4'x6' in the $130-$150 range to larger ones for a few hundred dollars.
