I can't go. Can someone ask about the CPA tax: who is on the board, what monies have been spent. Why are water bills so high. Why is the Mayor continuing to block the revolving door syndrome. Seems to me that waiting a year before getting a well paying (and non competitive per Somerville Journal) job with the city makes sense.

Thanks!

Regarding CPA-see here: http://somerville.wickedlocal.com/article/20140912/NEWS/140919353/0/SEARCH and here http://www.somervillema.gov/cpa/committee most went to subsidized housing.

Regarding water bill-how much is your bill? Mine has averaged 200 for 3 people per 4 month billing period, averaging to 16 per person per month. It doesn't seem expensive.

I didn't follow the rest of it-are you referring to alderman getting jobs with city?

I believe that is right-the allocations between the 3 categories are decided on, but the actual awarding of funds to specific projects is yet to come.

I got a leaflet about this in my mailbox even though I'm in ward 7. Really strange.

I could scan it eventually but it literally had what, where and time but not when- I looked at it 3 times and had my wife look at it because I was convinced I was missing it. At the earliest it would of been left on the door the Friday before the meeting or sometime during the weekend; I called 311 on that Monday to find out the date and they eventually called me back saying it was that evening. I had a meeting with another organization that evening already planned but I was eager to attend to participate and hear present and future plans for my area of the city.

I emailed an address at there site but never heard back from anyone- is the email above a good way to contact them? I guess I could try to attend an adjoining Ward's meeting as I am sure a lot of the info is city related also
