What are people's favorite nearby fabric stores? Particularly looking for a good selection of Polarfleece.

The closest places with decent selections are Sewfisticated and Sew-Low. Fabric Corner in Arlington has a great selection, but their prices are so bonkers that it's hard to recommend them.

Honestly, I usually just make the drive to Jo-Ann when I need fabric, because their selection and prices are best.
