Ah, Somerville in its season: the naturally occuring end-of-summer mountain of donations at Goodwill in Davis is up to the ceiling!

Well, GoodWill is quite good at allocating all their resources to their various divisions, so hopefully a lot of that stuff will wind up down south where they need it a lot more than Somerville does.

I was there yesterday. What are the ceilings, 12 ft? Whatever they are, the stuff was filed to the roof.

I was there today and was flabbergasted! I've never seen it that bad. Those ceilings are more like 15-18 feet, I'd say. And the pile went from the counter all the way to the stairs on one side. Crazy!

I also donated some stuff last week, and while I was there today I saw at least two people pick up my stuff and look at it. It was funny, and I wanted to tell them to buy it, because it was good stuff.
