Due to the Floating Slab Project, buses will replace Red Line trains between Alewife and Harvard Square Stations in both directions from start to end of service beginning Saturday, December 13, 2014, through Sunday, December 14, 2014. Regular Red Line train service will resume at the start of service on Monday, December 15. All shuttle bus stops are accessible for persons with disabilities.
The 2014 Jingle Bell Run 5K will be held in the Davis Square area on Sunday, December 14, from approximately 9 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. As a result, shuttle buses will bypass Davis Square during this time period. For service toward Alewife during this time, connect at Dover and Mass Ave. For service toward Ashmont and Braintree, connect at St. John's Church.
Additionally, due to the Jingle Bell Run 5K as well as Cambridge Yulefest 5K, shuttle buses will experience some delays in service.
