Bike path drainage problem

It's been bad for years, but the Davis Sq lofts area of the bike path is almost unusable these days. There is just a huge pile of accumulating mud that is unavoidable. I love the bike path, but it's getting to the point where I take a different route now.

Does anyone know anything about plans to fix it?

No, but I wish they'd do something, too, although the area that concerns me is the part from Willow to Cedar. There's been an area on the right side just past the building on Willow (sorry, blanking on the name of the business) that regularly becomes a lake, and large stretches beyond that are very cracked and damaged, with the end result being very large puddles that one can't always get around. Is this the area you're thinking about?

Complain to your city councillor. That's what will get the money allocated to fix it.

Somerville has aldermen (one from each ward, and four at large), not city councilors.

Maybe some Community Preservation Acts funds could go to this project.
