Skeptics In The Pub (SITP) at The Burren, 7pm Monday March 2

Tonight there's another gathering of science nerds and science fans at The Burren. These presentations and discussions are held in the back area of the pub--there a seating and stage area in the back if you aren't familiar with it.

A local pediatrician will talk about the problem of parents rejecting injections for their babies--but not the ones you think. Some parents are now declining Vitamin K--which is leading to terrible consequences like seizures and strokes in newborns.

So if you are interested in hearing more about why parents are refusing Vitamin K--and what the consequences can be, come and listen.
