Has there been anything mentioned about any new or transferring liqour licenses? Searching online that's the same group/company that owns the Tap in boston and a few other places; i highly doubt they would even consider opening a place without even a beer/wine license on day 1.

If it's going to be a Griddler's Burgers (see other comment below this one), they might not want a liquor license. Do you know if their other locations serve beer?

According to an article in the Dig this week, those are the folks who own Griddler's Burgers and Dogs, and it may be a new Griddler's location or something new.

That would make much more sense for that location than a nightclub. Kinda ironic if we end up getting a Spike's clone a few years after Spike's left.

I recall asking once at Spike's, and being told that they used one or the other of the name-brand "indeterminate processed soy things." Can't recall which, but as Tofu Pups and Smart Dogs (which seem to be the two most common around here, and I remember it as being one of those but memory is a weird thing) are somehow both owned by the same company, not sure it matters much.
