Avengers!

Arlington might be slightly outside of Davis, but I found out they are having a preview show of Avengers 2 at the Capitol Theater. (They would have done it in Somerville, but they just finished the Independent Film Festival there.)

I'm really excited about seeing this before everyone spoils me!

Looks like it's tonight at 7:00 (3D) and 7:15 (2D).

NOTE: The start times for the 3D and 2D showings are swapped in the online ticketing system. (The website lists the 3D version as 7:00, whereas the online ticketing lists it at 7:15, and vice versa.) I just spoke to them—they're going to start BOTH showings at 7:15, so if you buy a ticket online just buy the correct title and ignore the start time.

Currently 10 people in the 2D showing. Don't know if that translates to lots of unsold tickets, but there are lots of empty seats!

We went to the 3D, which only made a big difference for the Force Awakens trailer. *fangirl squee*

I was told by other patrons walking out that this is The Place to see your preview comic movies, and I believe it.
