What's the story behind the Jack Connolly protesters?

I've been out of the loop for a while, largely because of night classes on top of a day job. Can anyone point me to a place I can get information about why there are people demonstrating against Alderman Jack Connolly outside the T in the mornings? Their movement doesn't seem to have a web presence that I can find. Has campainging season for this November's election already started, or is something else going on? He's been in office for a long, long time, so I could understand this just being a push to remove someone so entrenched. Based on the euphamisms for "gentrifier" in his own web presence, and the fact that the people demonstrating against him seem to be locals in blue-collar jobs, I'm inclined to assume that the protesters are a good authority on the question of whether he's good for working families. I vote in Medford, so even though he's at-large rather than associated with a particular Ward, I don't actually have a say, but I'd like to be informed.

Do you have a copy of any of their leaflets? Can you post a transcription or photo of the leaflets? I'm in Davis Square pretty often but I've never encountered these picketers.

They were handing out quarter-sheet sized pieces of paper with some information the other day, but I didn't take one at the time, figuring they would have more. I didn't see any materials to take today; they may have run out of flyers. There have been between two and five of them around 8 or 8:15 by the College Ave. entrance to the Davis Square T stop, I think I have seen them every day this week. Several of them are wearing handmade signs saying something along the lines of "Jack Connolly does not support Somerville working families," and they also have a banner. I will try to get more information the next time I see them -- I haven't stopped to talk to them, because I only see them when I'm on my way to catch a train. Otherwise, I'd hopefully already know what their protest is about!

I have also been wondering about this. I also only see them when I'm dashing to get to work in the morning. I live in Medford so I am definitely out of the loop with all of it.
