Power outages

Is anyone else experiencing power outages right near Davis? (Im over near Day st) at this hour it's hard to tell if other homes are affected.

I'm on Kingston (between Mass Ave and the bike path, a few blocks north of the T) and my power went out about 5:45.

Oh word it's back on! I posted here because I just moved in and don't have the info to call Eversource.

My issue wasn't that I couldn't find Eversource number it's that I don't have our account info or the number associated and was unable to reach a human.

Mine went out at 5:45 and came back on about an hour later, as well. I'm on Orchard Street.

There was a brief power outage here (Day St) some time before I woke up. I know this only because my clock is blinking 12:02 instead of the correct time.

Eversource just robo-called me (and probably you, too) to say that the power is fully restored and that the outage was caused by "animal contact with equipment".

Perhaps squirrels munching on wires?

My memory is that it's one of the most common causes for outages.

A quick Google, and this might be what I remember - though in the listing were also several other links saying squirrels cause over half of power outages.
