Nine Bar Espresso is now open

next to Johnny D's, in the storefront where Kindred Tea & Tonic was open for a few minutes earlier this year.

They have six barstools and room for about the same number of standees, so it's not going to be a place to hang out for a long time.

I somehow haven't been on this side of the square in over a month, until today, and hadn't been following DSLJ for a while either, but I tried out their espresso today.
Quick internet search suggests that they are connected to Simon's, and the espresso was about as excellent as Simon's. And much closer to home than halfway between Porter and Harvard is. buzzbuzzbuzz.
