(ad written by vacating roommate) I'm moving out of state and looking to fill my bedroom in an awesome 2br apartment in Union Square.

The room is rectangular, about 10' x 15' with a window at either end. It comfortably fits a dresser, desk, small book case, and queen size bed with room to spare. Also included, a square 5' room to yourself to use as closet, or storage space. (Or a tiny office, if you really want.)

Rent is $800 (+utilities), includes water and trash. Open to a mid-October or 11/1 move-in, with STRONG preference for 10/1. For someone wanting to move mid-October, October rent would be prorated based on move-in date.

No dogs, no cats. (No exceptions - building's rules, not mine)

Buses to Lechmere, Sullivan, Davis, Porter, Harvard, Central Square, and MIT all within a few minutes' walk. If you bike, it's a 15-20 minute (or less) ride to pretty much anywhere in Somerville and Cambridge.

Laundry on premises and laundromat about a half block away. Somerville Market Basket, cheapest supermarket anywhere in the Boston area, is just down the street. Indian, Thai, Mexican, Brazilian restaurants nearby, as well as Union Square Donuts and Union Square farmers' market.

Fully equipped kitchen with tons of counter space, shared cable internet.

Lease through 8/2016 with option to renew. Strong preference for someone planning to stay longer than a year.

The management company requires a $25 credit check fee with application.
