Community Credit Union Block Party Tomorrow from 11-3pm

Hi DSLJ Friends,

The Community Credit Union is hosting a block party tomorrow in the Cutter Street lot from 11:00am until 3:00pm. There will be food from Cuisine En Locale, face painting, music, raffle prizes and cash rewards! CCU is located at 377 Summer Street and the lot is directly across the street from the branch.

Also, CCU is a member of Somerville Local First, The Chamber of Commerce and financial supporters of the Somerville Homeless Coalition, Groundwork Somerville, The Mystic River Watershed Association and Green City Growers.

I assume the parking lot you're referring to is the one for Winter Hill Bank and the Dilboy VFW? Or do you mean the small triangular city lot that's in the Y between Elm and Summer streets?

The Cutter Street lot is across the street from 377 Summer Street, at the Y.

I'm not sure where else this was posted - it seemed pretty under publicized. But I am thankful that DSLJ drew me over here to do some election research, so this sporadic DSLJ participant checked back in and
mooched a free lunch from Cuisine en Locale :)

I saw a poster or two in the square, but in obscure places. That's all the publicity I saw, until this LJ post.
