We have openings in October and November in co-op houses in Fields Corner, Dorchester and Davis Square, Somerville!
We share vegetarian meals, purchase food collectively, share household chores, hold weekly house meetings, and are dedicated to community & social justice. Rooms from $525 to $625 for monthly rent + $50/month for utilities + $125/month shared food/supplies. Our first co-op house started 6 years ago around values of vegetarianism, open communication, communal ownership, environmental sustainability, creativity and social justice. We are now re-examining our values, so this is an exciting time to get involved.
Boston Community Cooperatives (BCC) is an organization formed to build community through cooperative living, member education, neighborhood improvement and collective action. Members participate in a no-equity model of communally-owned, democratically controlled and affordable residential cooperatives. We recently purchased a 12-bedroom property in Dorchester, and continue to run a rental co-op in Somerville.
