Chimney Inspections/Sweeps

The air has started to turn chill at night. We need to get our fireplace inspected before we use it, as we haven't used it since we moved in and we have no idea which of the previous tenants might have. There's a half burnt log in it, so that indicates that it worked, you know, at some point. So, has anyone ever had a chimney inspected and/or swept around here?

2) Who did you use
3) Would you recommend them?
