The Davis Area Resident/Business Initiative (DARBI) (YourDavisSquare.com) announces its 12th annual December Midnight Madness shopping event, offering exclusive sales until midnight at a collection of Davis Square retail shops, on Thursday, December 3, 2015. Between the hours of 6 p.m. and midnight, shoppers will be able to shop at such Davis Square favorites as Comicazi, Magpie, Davis Squared, Pepe Bocca, When Pigs Fly, Found, Sunshine Lucy’s, and What’s Nü. Many retailers will offer live music, hors d'oeuvres, and drinks to keep the atmosphere lively.
Many participants will be collecting or selling items to benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition. To kick off the evening, adults and children are invited to meet at 6 PM at 128 Willow Ave. by the bike path (office of Thalia Tringo & Assoc. Real Estate). There, they can exchange a donation of canned goods or warm hats/coats/scarves/gloves for a free luminaria bag and LED light.
