Next opportunity to support the Green Line Extension: tomorrow, 13 April at Somerville High School

The next MassDOT/MBTA public meeting in Somerville to seek input on the re-evaluation of the of the Green Line Extension (GLX) project will be held this Wednesday, April 13: Somerville High School Auditorium

Open house: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, presentation and Q&A: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Under particular scrutiny for cuts during this re-evaluation are:

- The Community Path Extension
- The GLX Union Square T-Stop
- The GLX extension to Route 16

SOMERVILLE - The community path extension may be cut or scaled down from the Green Line Extension and Medford, Cambridge and Somerville are still being asked to contribute to the overall cost of the billion-dollar project, according to MBTA officials.
