Large Bike

I need a bike that will fit my size, 6'4". Pretty much any type will do as long as my knees don't keep hitting my elbows. Can be in pretty much any condition/age. Could be in hot pink for all I care. As long as it's big.

Have you actually been to any of the local bike shops? Ace Wheelworks (at Elm & Willow) and Bicycle Exchange (near Porter; not sure the exact location) both have pretty good reputations. I've only ever bought accessories at Ace but the sales staff seemed pretty clueful.

I've been to Ace's but I don't like their prices or attitude. I asked if they had something basic around $100 (which I realize is on the low end) to which all I got was a snotty look and a "yeah, good luck with that".

I've come to the realization that bikes in this part of the country are pretty expensive, but they didn't have anything below $250. So now I'm down to used bikes. I can repair anything that needs to be done on one.

I have a quite large shwinn road bike. I'm 6 foot and the bike just fits me, so the bike should fit you like a glove. but the catch is it's in NY where i used to live and I won't be going back to get it untill the second weekend in Oct. you can reply if you are interested, i'll let it go for a pretty good deal.

I'm interested, but I'd need to see the bike first. I don't know if you were planning on bringing it back anyway, but if you were let me know once it's down here and I'll take a look.

i was planning on getting it to boston, so its no biggie, i'll let you know, and see if you were able to find something.
