Survey/suggestion: buffalo chicken sub/wrap?

This is a completely frivolous question, but I'm curious if anyone has an opinion on who makes the best buffalo chicken wrap (or sub) in the Davis and surrounding areas. I'm frequently craving one, and haven't been satisfied with places I've tried lately. Cambridge House of Pizza (on Mass Ave) did an okay one but the quality lately has really slid (last time they gave me BBQ sauce with it instead of buffalo sauce!). Christo's uses grilled chicken, which is healthier, but doesn't satisfy the way a fried chicken cutlet would.

So, anyone have a suggestion/recommendation?

I haven't tried one there, but their other food items are good.

Eat at Jumbo's has a buffalo bomb, which comes with either breaded or grilled chicken.

I second everything at City Slickers - all their sandwiches are top notch. I like there pizza also but I really can't eat it all that much as it is a little on the greasy side ( which it doesn't take much for me to get bothered by) but most others won't have a problem with. The owner works there often so if you walk in and ask him to make it your way or if he has something similar I am sure he will be glad to do so.

It has a new owner, or perhaps is in the process of transitioning to a new owner, but I think the food will stay essentially the same.

If you're a purist, it should really be actual wings, right? If we took the bones out, it wouldn't be crunchy would it.

This is a bit of a BS recommendation, as I haven't tried it, but I've been told the buffalo chicken sub/wrap at Ma Magoo's is excellent.

I often get the buffalo chicken tenders from Venus Pizza, so I'd imagine their sub would be good.

something of a buffalo chicken connoisseur here. the buffalo chicken calzone at city slicker will destroy you, in a good way.

thanks for the recommendation, i was hoping i was not the only one in the area obsessed with buffalo chicken. with several recommendations here, i'll plan to make a trip out and try it.

Deli-icious has the Buffalo Bill wrap and the Burning Love panini, both with buffalo chicken fingers.
