Nimah Market, the Pakistani/Bangladeshi convenience store at Mass Ave and Rindge, just outside of Davis Square, unexpectedly closed. Not sure exactly when, but the space is completely cleared out. Surprising, as I was just there a week or so ago and nothing seemed any different.

My favorite moment at Nimah was after they added the decals in the window advertising "naan • injera • kulfi"; I was literally in there buying some kulfi and an older lady came in off the street and told the owner that they had to redo their decals because they "spelled coffee wrong" and pointed at the word 'kulfi'. The guy just laughed at her and gave her a little cup of pistachio kulfi.

My housemate asked if they sold goat on a whim, and the guy at Food Land just went to the basement and chopped some up. He even offered him the brain and eyeballs.
