I give up: where does one buy women's mid-weight gloves in this area? I'm looking for something in suede or similar, for regular outdoor use. Not sporting gear; something slightly fashionable for a professional appearance. Don't want to spend a fortune on fancy, willing to invest a bit in durable.

I get the feeling I'm a bit ahead of the seasons, as CVS didn't have any winter wear in yet, but my hands are cold now.

Suggestions?

I was at TJ Maxx/ Fresh Pond last week. They have gloves, starting at $12.99.

Costco had Isotoner ladies gloves last week, they probably still do.

Ocean State Job Lot. They have plenty of gloves in stock, I believe.

I received a pair of really nice leather, fleece lined fashion gloves several years ago. I wear them every winter. I think they came from Lord and Taylor. They are still my favorite gloves and are of high quality. I imagine they were pricey and I would never have bought them for myself (well, maybe I will in the future since these have outlasted several other pairs of other types of gloves).

Target? I was also thinking Ocean State Job Lot, but someone else beat me to it.

The Wilson's Leather at Assembly Row will have nice gloves, and may have some of last season's styles still in stock and discounted. (My current pair is not from there, but the store I got them from is gone -- used to be in one of the storefronts on Holland.)
