Anyone know of an available apartment or a good broker?

Hi all. You guys were so helpful the last few times I asked for help that I figured I'd give it a shot again. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Due to unforseen circumstances, I am going to be moving out of my current apartment quite abruptly. I figured I'd post my requirements here, but would welcome any and all suggestions including a good broker to use.


Specifically I am looking for a decent sized apartment to share with my boyfriend in the Davis Square/Porter Square area. The problem is we can only pay *absolute max* $1300/month including utilities. I have a lot of furniture and stuff, so closet space is a must. We'd prefer to have laundry and dishwasher, but we'll see what happens. Must allow a cat. Off-street parking is preferred (har har), but again, we'll see. ;)

Anyway, sorry to spam your friends list, I wouldn't post here if I weren't desperate.

jay gardner at chestnut hill realty (porter sq cambridge near the forest cafe) did a good job with my husband & me looking for a place around somerville.

jesse haley with remax realty is really good. he helped us get the apartment we're in now, and it's really great. i'm pretty sure he's at the remax right in davis square.
