thanks, that was going to be my question. it is not my intent to spam this community, but to promote an event that i thought would be of genuine interest. also, it's true, there's a large contingent of the people involved with this that live in Davis, including myself.

we would have happily had the show in the camberville area, but sadly there's not a venue that could accommodate us.

Well, as a reader would you want to see everyone who lives in Davis posting about all the interesting things they've got going... but not in Davis Square? My guess would be if that was the rule then the posts about things that aren't about Davis Square would waaaaaay outnumber the ones that are.

FWIW. This would be appropriate in the Boston group, though.
