Hi! I am no longer a history student, and I decided that I really needed to trim my book collection. Mostly in the textbook department (although most of these are not textbooks per se, they were used as such for classes I took).

For books that aren't obscure, you might want to check out bookmooch.com

You list a book. When someone wants it, you send it to them. You search for books that you want, and when someone lists it, you ask, and they send it. A good way to trade books you don't want, for one's you do.

I've just started using it in the last two months. Zero problems so far, and I feel all fuzzy inside from a reusing/recycling aspect.
