Apartment hunting

Hi everyone! I'm new to live journal and just found this community. I live in the Davis Square area and really like it here.

I have some friends who are looking to relocate to somerville, hopefully neaer Davis Square...if anyone has any leads on a two bedroom apartment that will take a cat, I'd love to hear about it.

what are they looking for? price, etc. we have a two bedroom in porter square (like a 5 minute walk from davis, next to the porter t) and we might be moving quite soon.

If it doesn't include utilities they can afford up to 1200/mo, more if heat is included. They need a 2 bedroom that doesn't have lead paint (they have a seven year old child.) They also have a cat. They need to move soon, though, ideally March 1.

ah, i guess i can't be of much help then. our place is slightly more than that, nothing included. and it probably has lead paint underneath all the layers here.
