Friends! it’s been a heck of a winter and [partner] and I are moving. Our landlords just sold our place (it took less than a week) and we have to be out by the end of April. While our heart and lives are in Somerville, we’re also looking at East Arlington, Medford, Cambridge, Watertown on the Cambridge border, and so on. Do you know any great, sunny places available by May 1? We’re seeking:
- 2+ bedrooms (many times we’re both working from home)
- cat-friendly
- sunny/good light
- parking for one car (street OK)
- Red Line accessible (bus connection OK)
- hardwood floors (allergies)
- good kitchen
- May 1 or earlier lease
Is this impossible? Could there even be laundry in the building? We’ll find out! PM us if you have any leads, on places or a realtor you love. Thank you!

Are you open to having a roommate? I know someone who lives in Davis Square, the apartment has 2 huge bedrooms available and lots of common space. Cat friendly too.
