Target coming to Porter Square

Target has signed a 10-year lease with options for six 5-year extensions, so assuming the chain remains healthy, they're here for the long term. It will be nice to see that mini-mall occupied again.

A full Target, or a Target Express like in Central?

I'd guess somewhere in between. The article says this is bigger than the Central Square mini-Target, but I'm sure it's considerably smaller than the Somerville and Watertown stores.

Soon there will be as many Targets as Paneras. I'd be happier if the quality were at least similar.

It’ll definitely be good to have a tenant in there again, even if it’s a Target.
