Is it just me, or have a bunch of them jumped in the past few weeks? Good yogurt was 3.99, now in the $4-5 range; white large eggs were $1.99, now $2.59...

Egg prices are up elsewhere, too, including at Market Basket and standard Stop&Shops. The wholesale price can shift pretty rapidly based on conditions (bird flu drives egg prices up) and demand, and the supermarkets aren't usually too far behind. A lot of prices are getting adjusted (some up, some down, mostly up) as they transition to being a Stop & Shop.

One of the weirdest things is that they haven't had almonds in over a month -- neither in bulk foods or in the almond-butter grinder -- as they "find a new supplier to work with the new management".
