Low-key Patriots’ Day festivities in Medford

A message from CITY OF MEDFORD

Hello, This is Captain Barry Clemente with an informational message. All are welcome to join us on Monday, April 16th for our annual Patriot’s Day event.

This year our event will begin at 9:45 a.m. at the Medford Public Library (111 High Street) to recognize the individuals who courageously fought during the Revolutionary War in the Battle of Menotomy from the City of Medford. We will then gather at the Old Salem Street Burial Ground on Salem Street at 10:30 a.m. for our ceremony. At the conclusion of the ceremony, all are invited to march to the Gaffey Funeral Home while we await the arrival of Paul Revere. Visit Medford.org for the schedule of events.

There will be authentic Bostonian food provided by Salvatore’s Restaurant, Boston Crème doughnuts from Dunkin Donuts and Donuts with a Difference, water provided by Accardi Foods, music by the Occasional Brass & Strings group, as well as fun activities for all
