I've been brainstorming which vulnerable businesses I want to make sure continue to survive, that I can remember to do business with, and I'm wondering what other people's places to protect would be.

• Porter Square books is doing free local delivery
• If you have a comics sub/pull list, and you can't pick it up, call them up and at least see if you can pay for the things in your sub over the phone, because the store has had to pay for them. Million year picnic has some limited delivery; does anyone know what Comicazi is doing?
• I can't imagine I can do much for any of my favorite Ball Square places, already suffering from construction. I hope Taco Party makes it.

What businesses are y'all worried about? Any of them do deliveries or gift certificates?

From the Comicazi FB group: "Starting today, we will be offering Curbside Pickup as a FREE service for customers who want to make a purchase over the phone. This includes but is not limited to: Comic Subscriptions, Gaming, Graphic Novels, Supplies & most anything in the store!
Just give us a call anytime (617-666-2664) & we are happy to pull requests together & bring your items out to your car. No request is too big or too small!
Comicazi will continue to be open, however, in support of Mass Health Services & our community as a whole, all events have been postponed. Please stay tuned to Comicazi.com for all calendar updates.

Ball Square Fine Wines is encouraging that people place orders online or call, and they expanded delivery to 10 miles (and contracted their open hours)
Unfortunately the only other thing I can report on is that Davis Square Chiropractic is closed for some 2-3 weeks except for extreme cases, at which point you are supposed to call them.

Oh, and Pennypackers, which had been about to close the Magoun location to foot traffic, has rescinded that, as of a couple days ago, and will exclusively serve things to be heated at home. I think I saw that on FB.

I was totally going to post this same thing today, as hubby and I were trying to figure out where to order from for dinner and couldn't figure out who was open.

Sugidama - open for takeout

I'm going to be going for my walk through Magoun/Ball Squares today and will come back with more open/close information.

House of Kebab - open for takeout (unclear how that impact lunch which is buffet)
True Grounds - open until 8am-2pm
Taco Party - closed for planned renovations

In general, I've found following the businesses I care about on Instagram to be the most timely way to keep up with changes.
