good Chinese take-out (that delivers) around D-Squared?

So are there any good Chinese food place in or around Davis that will deliver? I haven't tried any of them but some of them look like...thick, gooey... looking more for light and tasty. I used to order from Joyce Chen (fire up the way-back machine...)

Also http://www.cafechina.com/ in Inman Square delivers to Davis Sq and the food is rather amazing.

I'm gonna be the dissenter on East Asia - I used to order from there regularly because I lived a few doors down and I never thought it was very good. Acceptable, but just average. Also, I've never had worse Chinese food IN MY LIFE than what I ate from China Sun.

On the other hand, Dragon Garden, right in the square is my absolute favorite Chinese food around and has met with rave reviews among my friends too.

I would avoid golden jade - very greasy.

Golden Jade in Ball Square delivers around Davis. Serious old-school Ameri-Chinese like egg foo young and chop suey, along with Polynesian and Thai.

Qingdao Garden does, in fact, deliver.
They're kind of hit or miss. Once I got some of the best chinese food I've ever eaten. Seriously. Othertimes it's been among the worst.
I wish I knew when that good chef was cooking, I'd always order then. ^_^

Their specialties (inc. the dumplings) are awesome. Prices went up about 60 months ago after changing their name from Wang's Fast Food to Wang's Chinese Cuisine ... but still worth it!

Dragon Garden, Dragon Garden, Dragon Garden!

I've tried every other one listed here and None of them come close to Dragon Garden for best tasting food.

If you like bad greasy Americanized Chinese food (and some people do) go to some of the other restaurants mentioned.

If you are truly looking for good Chinese food...go to Dragon Garden. Right in Davis Square and they deliver.

They know me there. They say that they are my kitchen because I always go there.
