I don't have much call to refer to the lot, but I still refer to the store as Osco, despite the fact that I regarded the change of ownership with undiluted joy.
is it that different as a Brooks than it was as Osco?
By the way, the city has approved conversion of One Davis Square (the yellow building between Dover and Day streets) into a three-story building. The first floor will be a CVS, the second a Boston Sports Club gym, and I think offices on the new third floor.
Ron, do you know any more details? Converting that building to retail on the first floor with a gym above is a great idea. I wish we could get a good grocery instead of yet another CVS, but this is a step in the right direction. Maybe when CVS moves in, they'll keep the sidewalk a little cleaner and ice free.
Don't ever refer to the "lot", which is why I was confused about your survey. I refer to the store all the time though. I call it: "Osco, or Brooks, or whatever the hell it is now."
