Searching for housemate
Dec. 15th, 2005 12:05 am1 bedroom Avail in 3 bedroom apt, right in Davis Square. Thanks!
1 Bedroom available in large 2nd/3rd floor 3 bedroom apartment, January 1st. Rent is $485. Two blocks to Davis Square T station, fully furnished, gas stove, carpeting throughout. One bathroom, street permit parking / shared parking space, oil heat, gas hot water. Utilities are not included. The apartment is not in excellent repair but it is functional. The landlord is never around and leaves us to do our own thing. The previous roommate left a bed if you'd like to buy it from him, otherwise he'll put it in storage.
You'd be sharing the space with a late 20's/early 30's couple. Angie is a graduate student at Emerson College as well as a pianist and might be occasionally teaching private lessons during after school hours. Aaron is a zymurgist, musician, yogi and professional computer geek. We frequently cook, don't watch TV (don't have cable or TV reception -- intentionally) but do watch movies, and are also dedicated bicycle commuters. We have two excellent cats and would prefer no more. We're organized and keep the place respectably clean but are not neat freaks. Both of us are friendly and relaxed and easy to get along with.
We are looking for an amiable, laid back, intelligent roommate who is fiscally responsible and capable of respectfully sharing space. No smokers please. Any orientation is welcome. Creativity is a plus. We like our living environment low stress and drama free.
You'd be subletting; the current lease is through 9/1/06. No security deposit, just first month's rent.
Please send me an e-mail telling us about yourself if you are interested! yangie(at)phozon(dot)com
