Gaming Dens?

I sort of miss the 24-hour videogame hangouts I frequented in Orlando. Of course, I don't live in a place with a 24-hour college (Full Sail) anymore, but I was wondering if there are any hole-in-the-wall places around here that let you play PS2/XBOX/PC games for an hourly rate.

Dunno of any around Davis per se. There is a place underneath the Brattle Theater at Harvard Square. I know nothing about it beyond its thereness.

(Of course, if it comes to pass that the wonderful but financially shaky Brattle Theater must shut down while the video game place is allowed to survive, then that will be the day I will rampage thru the streets shooting lasers from mine eyes. Pshew, pshew.)

The place under the Brattle Theatre is called Adrenaline Zone. Never been inside, so I can't tell you anything else about it.

This is actually the second try for a place like this in Harvard Square. Anyone remember Cybersmith on Church Street?

I thought Cybersmith was cool when you could sit at a computer and order a tea and muffin and they'd bring it to you.

I also liked their VR pods.

The place across from the high school? I believe it closed at some point last year. It's either a law firm or insurance place now.

There's a place on Highland Ave called It's Your Move Games; they sell a lot of role play gaming stuff and they have a clubhouse at the back of the store and gaming nights; it might be worth asking there.
