Protest/vigil
Feb. 22nd, 2006 12:32 pmHello Somervilleites,
If the actions of the Bush Administration have you upset, concerned, enraged etc etc, tonight is your chance to stand up and be counted.
MoveOn.org has organized a number of vigils for tonight in cities and towns around our country. There is no vigil planned or organized for Somerville, but there is one in Harvard Sqare on the corner of Mass Ave and Church St at 6pm tonight. I know a number of you are into progressive politics and perhaps I will see you there.

Date: 2006-02-22 11:53 pm (UTC)seriously, though; what reason do we have to believe that attending this vigil will have any impact on the policies of the Bush administration? i mean this question seriously; they can’t possibly be under the mistaken impression that the majority of the population of Harvard Square and environs support them.
