Hi all,

Does anyone know of a good dog veterinarian near Davis Square? I tried to search but most of the topics were about cats. Also any information on any good dog walkers?

My dog walker is modpixie, who's fabulous.

I take my little guy to Cambridge Veterinary Center (Dr. Weiner) which is really closer to Porter, but they're fantastic with him.

Good Vet that makes house calls

I have a great vet that comes right to my house in Ball Square. His name is Dr.Jake and I have been extremely happy with him (www.vetcall.com)
My last vet, Fresh Pond Animal Hospital,went through some major changes last year & the quality of service suffered greatly. Dr. Jake is not cheap, but he is very good.

Thanks for the tips guys! I think we'll look into Cambridge Vet Center.

My wife and I are planning on getting a puppy in a couple of weeks so if anyone else has any useful puppy info it would be greatly appreciated! What are some good dog parks around Davis Square?

The group Somerville Dog can probably give you good information on parks. They even have a Parks Page (http://www.somdog.org/parks_and_maps/index.php) on their www.somedog.org (http://www.somdog.org/) site.

Porter Square Veterinarians is a really great place! They are in Davis Square (despite what the name says)....more or less right across the street from the Rosebud Diner on a side street...I can't remember the name.
