And now, my dears, I have the honor of playing host to AbSynthe's Boston-area CD Release Party tonight!

The long-awaited new album, DEMONstration, will be available for your listening pleasure tonight, along with a theatrical performance by AbSynthe...and the AbNymphs. Expect shock, horror, darkness, and some brilliant lyricism and musicianship. You'll never be handed anything less. These fellows are as much the bastard children of Alice Cooper, as perhaps the second coming of Pigface, with even a little Manson-from-his-early-days-when-he-was-still-semi-respectable.

I would have asked you to lj-cut the image, but I see it's already been disabled due to high bandwidth usage.

Now nobody can see it, even people who want to. If you put it behind an LJ-cut, at least the people who are interested can see it with a click.

All I know about these bands is that the very mention of them comes in this annoying multiple-cross-post spammage. I am sure they are very nice, but maybe spacing them out by an hour inbetween will at least disperse them throughout my friends' pages.

Thank you for your input; it's really hard to work as a promoter and only have so much time in the day to post announcements when one is running 8-12 shows monthly, so I do tend to do them all in one fell swoop.

I usually cut huge flyers, but smaller items I generally don't. I have always figured that the size of the embedded image dictates whether or not it should fall behind an LJ cut or not.

I note that the image is still disabled due to "high-bandwidth usage", even almost a week after the event. It's really in your own best interest to put images behind a cut, so that the bandwidth isn't eaten up by people who have no interest in the band.
