Boy, do I need to get back into meditation class. I used to go to a great class right on Elm in Davis, but that teacher moved to Arizona and nobody took over the class.

Non-denominational would be perfect, somewhere in or near Davis. I don't like that big center in Central Square (too many rules) but I'd be open to trying something else. All suggestions appreciated!

I've heard of that, but I didn't know about the free daily sittings. That's great -- I can't meditate in my own house because it's a zoo. A free option for a quiet sit is a definite plus!

There is a two-floor Tibetan shop on the south side of Mass Ave call (I think) "Bodhi Tree", I can't recall if it's between Davis/Porter on Mass Ave or between Porter/Harvard. It's got a below street level entry that is set a few feet back and can be easily missed.
I spoke with the owner of the shop for about an hour once, and he mentioned that he holds a group meditation on either Saturday or Sunday mornings. I know this information is totally vague, but I would stop there and ask for more details - he is such a gentle and peaceful man, and I would imagine meditation sessions with him will be very rejuvenating.

Tree of Life Tai Chi in Somerville (between porter and union, near the Market Basket, right on the 87 bus) has chi kung and taoist meditation classes and a fantastic teacher.

I took classes at CIMC and loved loved loved it. I've never gone for one of their daily sittings, but have thought about it frequently. :)
