looking for an art studio to rent for one night

Hello all,

This is an odd request, but I'm looking for a space to host a birthday party. I was thinking of an artist's studio, with space to set up a couple of easels and acrylic paints for collaborative paintings by the guests. Other needs would be electrical outlets (music), possibly a refrigerator, bathrooms, and enough space for about 30 folks to move about freely. I'd like to do this either Friday, 5/26 or Saturday 5/27, in the evening.

Any leads?

It's possible you could find something at Brickbottom (http://www.brickbottomartists.com/site/index.html). I don't know who you would contact about something like that specifically, but the gallery lobby has a bulletin board with postings for studio rentals. Most I've ever seen are monthly rentals, but it could be a place to start.

Great idea--but it looks like they've moved. The new owners (Lily Pad) have something booked for that Saturday, but I'll check into the Friday. I think the new space for Zeitgeist isn't very open--do you know?
