Street sweeping has started in Somerville

It's April, which means it's time to once again pay attention to the No Parking signs on each side of your street. The signs tell which days street sweeping will occur on that side of the street. If you don't move your car, it will be ticketed and could be towed.

My street has been swept almost every night (at midnight-1am) since I moved to Somerville a month ago. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

I've been hearing the sweepers go by on Willow Ave. as well, usually around 1:30-2:00 a.m. WTF?

ME too, which is bogus, because when I am sick I sleep in the living room. Stupid flashy loud things.

I thought street sweeping was always between 8 am and noon?

I believe it is, officially. Though I haven't checked since I have a driveway spot through the winter months. I'm guessing they only ticket and tow during the posted street cleaning times. I live on Broadway so maybe there is more dirt to clean?
